Solheimajokull - Hólar

Here there is a small glacier called Solheimajokull, a branch of the larger Myrdalsjokull. The ice leads down out of the mountains almost to the shore itself.

It may be somewhat hard, but I had a great time climbing up this mass of ice. Getting up is somewhat slippery... but... more travel advice
