Politically messy but I love this place anyway!
You have everything! Amazing desert, great beaches, wonderful place for scuba diving, and exetremely fun hikes. It all small - no need to drive forever from one place to the other: from the beach to the desert is about 3 hours!! (from certain directions even less).
