Tourist Trap: Gem Factories
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Theres always someone(either the tour guide, the tuktuk driver or the taxi driver) who would mentioned that you should visit the gem factory, sounds exciting? They will say it is really cheap and all tha ***e but...Don't go! I dont see the point of me goin to a gem factory and just doing a detour round it cos i know im not getting nething of there! It's boring and a waste of time!

    Tourist Trap: Dreamworld
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • The so called 'disneyland' in Thailand is crap!!! I thought I needed about six hours there so before I could even step in, I told the driver not to come in three hours as planned but in six hours time. The rides were boring and it took us 2 hours to finish every single ride including the kiddie ones! For the next 4 hours was just hell in the heat and plain boredom I swear I went on everyride at least twice!

Hi! We al;so stayed at the Eastin hotel and really liked it! Great swimmign pool and night-views! We had the same thing with cabdrivers and Tuk Tuk's wouldn't take us to the grand palace; to far... Greeting Karin
