Getting TO/AROUND: There is a ferry from Körmen (near Datca) to Bodrum at 9 am. You can buy the ticket from the ferry office in Datcha and they have a service bus, which will take you to the ferry, and it leaves Datca about 8.30.

The price was in July 2004 15 000 000 TL (ferry and service bus) and the boattrip to Bodrum harbour took about two hours.
On the ferry you can buy tea, coffee and soft drinks. A tea is 1 500 000 TL.

By bus: From Bodrum otogar to Izmir

    Category: Bus
Getting TO/AROUND: The otogar in Bodrum is in the city. To come there from the harbour you walk 400 m – 500 m up along Cevat Sakir Caddesi. At the otogar there are many bus-company offices and you can without hassle visit several to compare prices and timetable.

I can’t remember which company I bought the ticket from, but to Izmir from Bodrum it was 16 000 000 TL and it took
3,5 hours. The company had free service from Izmir otogar to different places around the city.

Malena, I always enjoy reading your interesting, upbeat pages and Bodrum is no exception. I can almost taste the delicious fresh fruit from your description. The museum looks quite fantastic and I appreciate your insightful comments and lovely photos.
