I just saw this town in a documentary as it showed Diabakir (?) to Erbil. Imagine they want to distroy all of that by flooding. Terrible.

The minaret of El-Rizk Mosque has a very attractive appearance in front of the Tigris River. Thanks Malena for sharing!

Beautiful place, i so sad of notice of the dam, maybe i consider go to next april, or if the next travel will be go here.

Today Turkish PM has gone to Hasankeyf to start the building of the dam which will make old Hasankeyf city disappear under waters.
