Virgin Mega Store
  • Tip Rating:

  • At this huge store you find different things on different floors. In the basement you find the cameras, computers etc. On the fist floor you have books, magazines, maps and video films and most are in English. On the second floor you have the music department with a lot of CDs by Lebanese artists and from other countries. Around the walls there are many headphones and you can listen to any CD you want. The store is opened until midnight.

  • Borj Hammoud is an area in east Beirut, just east of Beirut River. There are a lot of clothes shops (not too expensive) around Arax Street and Armenia Street. There are also many shops selling gold.
As many people living in Borj Hammoud are of Armenian origin you will see some shops with signs in Armenian.
