Kazbegi is situated in a valley about 1750 metres above sea level in the Caucasus region. The surrounding landscape is beautiful with impressive mountaintops (Mt Kazbeg is the highest peak with its 5047 metres). It is a lovely place, but at the same time it feels a bit strange. |
