|  | Outside Alaverdi, in northern Armenia, is the old monastery Haghpat. Together with Sanahin it is on UNESCOs World Heritage list. It is a complex of churches, a bell tower, a book depositary and a refectory built between the 10th and 13th centuries.
It is a beautiful place to explore. |
