It has between 20,000 and 21,000 permanant residents, more so when school is in session catering to Morther Michigan University's 8500 or so students. Its got plenty of beaches (if you can stand the sub 40 degree farenheit water), and a great park system to chill out.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Beautiful scenery, clear water, clean streets, friendly people
- Cons:over 200 inches of snow in the dead of winter to shovel, sub zero winters
- In a nutshell:I like it enough that im moving back
