Kauai is a wonderful Hawaiian island to choose for a vacation if you want to stay away from big resorts and really experience paradise. With tons of wonderful private B&B's, deserted beaches and local cuisine, Kauai is a great place to get away from it all. It's not a very popular destination for tourists, so you can get a real sense of what Hawaii is all about. You will enjoy much more of Hawaii's natural beauty on Kauai than on the big island. It's only a short, cheap plane ride from the big island and it's worth the extra effort! |
