Chongfu
This is probably a place you'll never go, but if you do, you're "off the beaten path". I unfortunately only stopped here for dinner and had to keep moving, but it looked like a little town with some character. I liked the fact that there were some traditional buildings around. Chongfu is right off the G320 highway.
It's closer to Hangzhou than it is Shanghai.
