5 trips to Singapore in 2008 I have taken short work trip to Singapore in February, April, June, July and August 2008. It's an interesting place, but what exactly will interest you depends on how much time and where else you've been in Asia.
English is better here than anywhere else I've been in Asia (including Philippines).
The shopping drag on Orchard Road is great, though basically a repeat of what you'll find in Hong Kong or even Shanghai. Places like Little India are fun, unless perhaps you've spent time in India. |
|  | Singapore It took me thirteen years of Asia travel experiences to make it to Singapore, but 2008 has been a breakthrough year, with trips here in February, April and June.
I've stayed at some of the nicest hotels here: Ritz-Carlton, Fullerton, and Mandarin Oriental. All three are exquisite. I had ranked the Ritz at the top, but after staying there again for 10 days in July 2008, some of its luster was removed. |
