This is the sign that greets you as you enter the park. The locals told me that this park no longer receives federal money, and it relies only on a small amount of money from Bohol province and visitors entrance fees. So I guess it's not really a "national" park anymore, and once inside you'll see why. It's basically just terrain. You can walk through the forrest but it is easy to get lost. There is a mountail/hill which has a peak to overlook the area BUT, and this is very important, the observation tower has been destroyed and the overgrowth makes it such that you can't see anything! I did the trek up there (90 minutes all uphill) only to just have to walk back down the other way. Good exercise but no reward.
Even though P100 is not a lot, I really disliked this dual-pricing system.
Overall I'd give the park a miss, unless you have a lot of time in the area.
Very impressive old church. Gloria Arroyo visited this church the day I was in town. The people said that was her first time ever to Loboc as then 6-year president of the Philippines. Lucky day for me I guess.

I wouldn't recommend making a special trip here, or even going at all if you only have a few days in Bohol (i.e.... more travel advice

glad to know you explore philippines hope to see you one day in person
I have seen signs like that all over the world. I got 2 African friends to get 4 of us into Kruger Park for less than the price of 2 'non-Africans'!
seems you'd been to the philippines a number of times... when are you coming back?
i will be in bohol for the first time this weekend, eager to see loboc place
