duanestorey's new Boston Page

I was really surprised how much I liked Boston. I don't know why, but I pictured Boston in my head as just another big city, and I'm not really a fan of big cities. Boston was a pleasant surprise: it was clean, the people were nice, and the colonial achitecture was really awseome.
Patriotism

Architecture

I'm a big fan of architecture, maybe because I spent two summers drafting or because I'm an engineer. For whatever reason, I love walking around cities and looking at all the neat buildings..

One thing I noticed immediately while driving down in the USA was how patriotic everyone is. There were American (and, as a pleasant surprise to me, some Canadian) flags on people's lawns all over the place.

Here's my attempt at capturing some of this patriotism on camera.

Nice work on the Boston page...the map tip is VERY true. Boston is the nuttiest city and most wonderful one for walking around, getting lost, and finding amazing spaces.

I guess going to the "Cheers" Bar is better than having a cuppa.
