I'm from NYC but I've lived in Dallas for more than 20 years. As a friend says, "It's a nice place to live but I wouldn't want to visit there." Unfortunately, most visitors to Dallas see just the glitz and miss the real city. It's not one of the world's great cities, but it does have its charms. The trick is to get out of the shopping malls and into its urban neighborhoods. |
