Paradise Beach Club -- South Coast

This is a shot of Mirissa, the last beach that I stayed at in Sri Lanka. The bungalows were just behind the trees. Given the info about where the tsunami struck, I'm reasonably sure this beach and its bungalows are gone. If anyone knows anything about the staff members who worked there, I would appreciate the info.

After the tsunami

When we were at Yala, we stayed at the Yala Safari Lodge. After the tsunami, this is all that was left of the lodge.

Your prices are outdated. Entrance to Yala is now LKR 2,800 per person and you will be lucky to get a jeep for LKR 4,000.

Very interesting. And i can understand that that climb was worth it. Even if i have only seen the pictures!
