Varna is the third largest city in Bulgaria (after Sofia and Plovdiv).
It is located on the Black Sea coast in the Northern part of Bulgaria, close to the border with Romania.
In the summer months, the city's beaches and parks are overflowing with tourists (both Bulgarians and foreign visitors).
The pedestrianized streets in the city centre are clean and modern, are spruced up with attractive flowerbeds and are lined with numerous shops, cafes and the ubiquitous fast food outlets. |
