We got a great price. With the AAA discount, it was something like $60/room/night.
Unique Qualities: This is the place that started it all - the original Bugsy Siegal joint. There's little pretense here -- it's all unabashedly about gambling, but the rooms are attractive and comfortable (ask for one with a view of the garden) and there's a marvelous, funky, old-time, topless vaudeville act. The garden is lush and tropical and the exotic birds it houses are interesting including, of course, the flock of 5 - 10 flamingos.
