Singapore seems to be the Greenest Metropol Unfortunately we only had a 2 nights stop over in Singapore. But within these 2 1/2 days we spent there, we really were through to bits with this lovely town.
I must admit, that before we went, I was not too keen to visit this town at all, as I expected that "the cleanest town in the world" would appear to us somewhat ....... boaring!
Well, our opinion proved to be wrong! It is definitely not boaring at all! Very interesting and with so many green areas, very friendly international population and - on top - clean! We will certainly go back there everytime whenever there arises a chance for another Stop Over!
Thinking about it, I could very well imagine, that living/working in Singapore must be great! In fact , in our hotel on Langkawi we met a New Zealand couple, who lives in Singapore since approx. 8 years, stating, that they do not have any intentions to go back to New Zealand at all! Estonishing! |
