Hello! Ciao! Salaam! Bonjour! Hallo! Hola! Geia Sou! Namaste! Halla! Hau Mita Kolas! Aayubowan!
I think if I was to say hello in every language, I would write this page the whole day! :) I greet everybody, everywhere, no matter what language! ;)
Thank you for visiting my page. The world is full of beautiful places, languages, customs and people! No matter where you go, you will find a friend! From the pyramids of Egypt, to the Empire State Building in New York City, you be in awe that you are actually standing in places, where you have only dreamed.
Some important things I learned in life are kindness is not a weakness, but a great gift. Imagination is not only for kids, but for all the young at heart. When you say hello or smile at somebody, you made their day better. :) Always appreciate what you have in life, because it is too short. Remember those who do not have what you have, and give to them....you know that saying a little bit goes a long way. The best reward for charity is how it makes your heart feel. |

| | Do You Beleive In Fate? I Do! It all began, Friday, September20, 2002. I was on my way to an exciting trip to NYC! I was so nervous to fly, but I took every other source of transportation, so I decided to get over my fear of flying. Little did I know, this flight would change my life forever.
I was at the gate, waiting to board the plane. As I was walking, I noticed this handsome guy. I sat down near him and asked for the time. We sparked a conversation. It turned out he was from Cairo, Egypt, where I have always wanted to go. I actually planned on visiting it, to see friends. I told him how nervous I was to fly. He reasurred me it would be okay. They started to board the plane, so he grabbed my hand and escorted me on the plane.
He spoke with the flight attendant and asked if he could sit by my side. I am sure it was no problem, because he is quite suave hehe. It turns out he used to be a flight attendant, so he knew how to deal with situations, such as mine.
The whole time we talked, he made me feel at ease, and not even think about the fact I was 37,000 feet up in the air! Sparks just flew and we exchanged numbers, and decided to have a conversation over coffee, when I returned home. Ever since that point, we have been together.
The point of fate is he was not supposed to be on my flight, according to the airline, but according to God he was. :) He missed his flight before, thinking his flight was supposed to be the one I was taking. The airline was kind enough to let him take the flight I was on. We beleive it is fate. |
I'm A Flower Child! "Yeah Baby, Yeah!" My Mom told me that the second word I ever said was flower. When I was a child, I used to pick the flowers, put them in my hair, chase butterflies, but I used to call them, "butterfies" hehe.
Years later, I still have a love for them. There are so many great things to say about them! They are beautiful, they smell so nice, they make people smile and brighten their day!
I am a Floral Designer. I love to make a bride's day one she will never forget! There is a history of wedding flowers. Before the brides would carry flowers, they would carry herbs, garlic, to drive away evil spirts, while they walked down the aisle. In time, flowers replaced that. Flowers would symbolize fertility and love the couple shares.
Different flowers represent different meanings. Examples would be the red rose represents love and desire. Baby breath represents innocence. In the Victorian era, people would send flowers based on the meanings and occasions.
| | Ma Famiglia~ My Family Did you guess which one I am? As I got older, I realized how important family is. I am the oldest of three girls. This picture was taken in Portland, Oregon, just after Mt.St.Helen errupted. What do you think? Think we were posing?
My Father served the Navy for 23 years, so I am a military brat. We were very fortunate that we didn't have to move around a lot, growing up. We spent most of our lives, growing up in a small town in New Hampshire. My sisters and I used to drive each other nuts, and especially my parents! Nowadays, we are all so close, and talk often.
Like every family, we are all so different. My youngest sister is the clown, my middle sister is the athlete and I am...well, I don't know what to say about myself LOL |
Man Or Women's Best Friend We have two, cute, furballs. Our cat in that picture is Geb. Geb was a stray cat that we just fell in love with and ever since then, he has pretty much ruled the house. He is crazy and loves to jump off the sides of walls, greet us at the door and eats like a horse!
Well, we couldn't resist getting another crazy, kitten. She is the most insane animal I have ever had. Her name is Cleo. Does anybody see a pattern here? hehe Who knows, maybe the next cat will be named Ramses LOL | | | Don't look into her eyes! She will hypnotize you! |

| | You Only Live Twice You only live twice, or so it seems, One life for yourself and one for your dreams. You drift through the years, And life seems tame, Till one dream appears, And love is it's name.
And love is a stranger, Who'll beckon you on, Don't think of the danger, Or the stranger is gone. This dream is for you, So pay the price, Make one dream come true, You only live twice.
Nancy Sinatra 007 "You Only Live Twice"
I love the song lyrics, because every time I hear it, it reminds me of a magical, exotic place. One of my dreams has always been to watch the sunset on the Mykonos island, enjoying a traditional Greek dish, listening to syrtaki music, at a local taverna.
Greece has always captured my heart. I have always believed in following your dreams. Whether it is climbing Mt.Everest, or sailing the seven seas. Make your dreams come true! |
My Biggest Weakness ;) Okay, I admit it. I have a sweet tooth. I have a weakness for sweets. Not just any sweet, but sweets from Greece and the Middle East.
Not only do I have a weakness for these, but I absolutely love cuisines from all over the world! My favorite dish is Pastitsio from Greece. Some days I can go for a spicy, salsa Spanish dish, and other days I love the taste of a curry, Indian dish.
It's always great to try something new. You might surprise yourself and find a new favorite dish! :)
| | The Moon, The Natural Night Light Some of the things I like to do most is go to the beach, with a great cup of cappuccino, and listen to soothing music in my car. I am a stargazer, so I naturally love the night. There is something romantic about the beach at night. Maybe it is the moon's glow. Maybe it is the sound of the soothing waves. Either way, take your sweetheart to the beach at night for a romantic evening you will never forget. If you don't go at night, pack a great picnic, and enjoy! |
