Hello!!
Once again welcome and thanks for stopping by! I was sitting here and reflecting on life before your nice visit.
Mmmm...where was I?.... Ah! on Experience!!.....Yes I've got it!!
Experience they say is the best teacher. But come to think of it, if you take travel away from experience, will it not become more of a very short sighted teacher? In Africa, the cradle of civilization, my fore-fathers who had to go on foot for miles, days, and amidst attacks by all sorts of wild beasts, and the early western sujourners who had to spend days on turbulent high seas; must have known that life as St Augustine so aptly puts it, is indeed a big a book of which those who do not travel, end up reading but just a page! What a lucky generation we are that we can now travel, not only via the fastest brand of cars and super-sonic planes, but even at the click of the mouse. It is ture that from and in traveling, we get to know other people, new places, get to a better understanding, and come to admire the beauty of diversitiy as is reflected in race, religion, culture and nature. But as the greatest of these is the opportunity to meet and know other people, here therefore comes a little brief about me |
On the 11th of March, sometime ago, I was welcomed into this world of ours, somewhere in the continent of Africa. Male mother nature made me. A brown skin she gave me, and to a height of 5.8ft. has she stretched me thus far!
Africa, though my roots, here in Luxembourg have the wind of life and change blown me!
Eyes for movies and to see that there is more than me in existence, ears for music and for listening to others, a mind conscious of my limitedness and for reading, and a heart that knows I can not afford to be an island, and as such seeks to make friends have I been endowed with. |
