It is situated above the Dutch House / Stadhuys area. Not very steep and once you are up there, you will get a nice view of Melaka Raya. The ruins are photogenic and very photographed, but not as much as the area at the foot of the hill. Go up there for a nice afternoon breeze.

The most prominent building in Melaka. And the most photographed building. The church area is nice, fountains, ricksaws, etc. This is probably the first place tourists visit when they arrive in Melaka.

The Kumpung Kling mosque is the oldest mosque in Melaka. Right smack in town, it is only a short walk from Jonker Street. The mosque's design is very Melakan, as in, you will be nice glazed tiles of the "historic era". At the back of the mosque, you will find the area where workshippers clean themselves before entering the prayer hall. Only muslims are allowed to enter the prayer hall and if you are not appropriately attired, grab one of the black robes which are available for use.

The temple is next to Kumpung Kling Mosque. It is not a very big temple with only the main alter in the middle of the temple. There are several prayer times and it would be interesting to visit during prayers time.

The Hang Tuah well is a distance away from the town area. This is different from Hang Li Po Well. Well, the well is still filled with water and many still use the water from the well to clean themselves. Perhaps for good luck. I did the same too.
