Situated along Jalan Tan Cheng Lock, a few shops away from OCBC Bank, this is a great place to chill out, especially in the afternoon when it is hot. I love to just sit by the river and enjoy a beer with fries.

Sis savouring on the 3rd bowl of Cendol!!!
There are so many places selling chendol in Melaka. But which one is the best. Well, many love to come to 88 to try its chendol. Not my favourite chendol place in Melaka, but it is still very yummy. I guess chendol in Melaka is always good due to the generous serving of the fragrant gula Melaka (dark palm sugar). Situated on the main street, i.e. Jonker Street, the eating house is an old and long Peranakan House. There are many antiques in the shop and although not exactly a clean place, people still flock in for its chendol, and of course the laksa and other desserts too.

Yes, another chicken rice ball restaurant. It is bright red in colour but this is not the authentic chicken rice call restaurant although many first-time visitors and tourists usually go there.

This chicken rice restaurant is tucked in the corner of Jonker Street. Chong Hwa is the most original chicken rice place in Malacca. To get an authentic taste of the chicken rice balls, visit this restaurant.
Go early to avoid disappointment. Lunch time is always crowded.
Favorite Dish: For 2 pax, it costs RM10 for a plate of chicken and 2 servings of rice balls.
They serve freshly boiled barley drink and freshly squeezed fruit juice.
