Naples is a city on the edge and with an attitude. A bit grimy, but not sleazy, Naples seems real. The streets are alive, filled with vendors and hustlers..and school children and mothers..and merchants and the ever so present and...WATCH OUT!!...dangerous scooters. I love it all!

Good tips on Naples. We were there just 1 day primarily to see the amazing marble statues at Museo Capella Sansevero. They're incredible. From there we went on to the Amalfi Coast. What a dreamtrip. Thx for additional info on this busy & wild city.
I personally feel that Naple's National ARchaeological Museum is one of the best in all of Italy. Naples certainly is "alive"! Super information.

NIce work, i'll try to visit that museum before Pompeii
I had intended to take in Naples on my tour of Italy, but then chose Venice instead. The decision has nagged me in a doubting way ever since.
