another very enjoyable page and the the laundry tip is great - it is what we do as well. Take half as many clothes and twice as much money!!

Packing light + rinsing things out, this is all so very worth it, to be mobile with a carry-on only! When we were here in Nov'99, we got bad info on those bus tickets so we missed the $!@&# bus + Positano remains in my dreams...for now...

That was a GREAT tip about packing light and opting to do laundry which can also serve as an "off the beaten path" adventure. Nice tips and photos here, too.
