North Myrtle Beach Travel Guide: 44 reviews and 148 photos
I didn't visit Myrtle Beach (the north part... if that helps?) til 2003... went again in 2004. We will go back! This sunset pic was so captivating (taken from Broadway at the Beach, some bridge there) that everyone stopped and aaahed and ooohed, and a thousand flashes were going off.
I can't remember if this one was Buccaneer Bay or Captain Hook? It was cool though, they had cannon balls being shot into the water & neat info about pirates fighting while ya golfed.
The kids love to go collect hermit crabs, adults can look for shells or for other interesting stuff. Anyways the east coast isn't the place to spot great sunsets, but still it's a beauty at night, and fun for the kiddies.
- Pros:Great for families, stay busy & eat good!
- Cons:avoid hurricane season... we had to evacuate during Charley '04.
- In a nutshell:Fun for everyone, nice beach & not too busy (NORTH Myrtle!).

Putt Putt... fun but there's so many

I went online to look for suggestions on what floor level to stay at Avista and did not expect to find any answers to be honest! Was happy to find your review on Avista. Very helpful, thanks! We are headed down from Ohio next week.

I liked your Cancun & Myrtle Beach pages...try some Gosser beer at the Rathskeller downtown Indy sometime...great beer...lots of beer choices. :-)
