The Place of Light !!! millions of people come here to ask forgiveness for their sins & make wishes. No body goes back empty handed....all wishes are answered here........i really cant describe the feeling, it makes u happy, it makes u cry......being in this place is a feeling out of the world and i feel so lucky to be a part of it. I would love to go again, soon!!!
There is no distinction here, there is no rich or poor, no matter what country, color, race or language they belong to, every1 is the same. Praying 1 time in here is more beneficial than 100,000 times praying anywhere else.
This mosque is open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The rituals perform here include the tawaaf (the circling of the Kaabah), drinking the holy water Zam Zam (can heal any disease), running from safa & marwah. i hope i covered the major points. These are both part of Hajj or Umrah. Hajj involves many other formalities, takes 5 days, and happens only once a year, whereas Umrah can be done any time, usually takes abt 2 hrs.
