    • Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The winter in Melbourne can get very wet and windy. The wind is so strong that it can blow you away if you are using an umbrella, so bring a waterproof and windproof jacket instead, preferably with a hood. A beanie or hat would also be helpful to keep you warm.

    Better still, bring someone to keep you warm. :)

     Just a quick addition to your warning that it might be better to try and avoid the Kangaroos! They can damage your car beyond repair and cause quite a bit of injury to the passengers inside. Happy driving!!
