Cozy like a small town yet everything you need from a metropolis. Aarhus is sometimes overlooked by those who fly into Copenhagen or Billund. If you catch it, you're in for a treat! It has something to offer everyone. From great festivals to watersports, to museums, to nightlife, to viking history!

My first trip overseas I ever took was to Denmark in 1996. I was 16 years old and bursting with energy. I was living in Aarhus on a Rotary International Youth Exchange for one year.
