Monet's garden and house | Water lilies at Monet's pond |
Giverny is a small village (about 45 minutes by train in the north-west of Paris). Claude Monet lived there and painted many of his pictures. You can visit the house where he used to live and the garden and the pond with the famous water lilies. Moreover you can visit the Musée d'art americain in Giverny and the tomb of Monet. Everything in Giverny is closed between november and the end of March! |
| | Monet's garden You can spend there some hours just walking around and smelling the fresh air and the flowers. The pond with the water lilies is really romantic. |
| | Monet's house The design of the individual rooms is very nice. You definitly have to go inside! |
