    The last two weeks of December and the first week of January you can skate the ice on the Raadhuisplein in Hoofddorp. This event takes place evey year.

    Equipment: You can bring your own skates, but I think you don't have them with you standard ;-) But you can also rent them, so that saves you a lot of carrying in case you did have them with you all the time.
