Unique Qualities: Staying on a ship is always nice. They have a great breakfast buffet, with a lot of typical swedish dishes. The location is perfect as well, on the beautifull island Riddarholmen, only a few moments from all the attractions Stockholm has to offer.

STF Backpackers Inn: STF Backpackers Inn Backpackers Inn Review

I believe the last time I was here the price was about 100 SEK which is about 10$ or 11 EUR.

Unique Qualities: This hostel is only open during the summermonths, because the rest of the year people go to school here. Every room has about 10 or more bunkbeds, so you won't have much privacy, but since in the summermonths the demand for a sleepingplace is so very high you'd rather stay here than not sleep at all (unless you brought a tent with you).

Comparison: least expensive

Directions: Located only a few minutes walk from the metrostation Karlaplan.

STF Hostel Zinkensdamm: STF Hostel Zinkensdamm

Although it's a youth hostel, the prices are quite high in my opinion compared to other hostels I've stayed in in Sweden.

Unique Qualities: This hostel is very big, but it's a very popular hostel, so book in advance, otherwise you probably can't stay here. The hostel has mostly rooms for 4 people, and also a small house with 8 beds, so if you're travelling in a group...

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: Located on the island of Sodermalm a ten minutes walk from the metrostation Zinkensdamm.
