Beside the metro system in Paris being very efficient and a very good means of transportation it is also very busy and very easy for pickpockets to take somthing that's yours without you noticing. Therefore if you travel together keep a close watch to all the people in the metro surrounding the other(s).

Glad you always take the Thalys train when you go to Paris. We never had a connection like that until this year. Now there are (finally) several fast ICE trains daily from Frankfurt to Paris, and TGVs from Stuttgart. | Sue08080 Sat Jun 17, 2006 12:31 UTC
