  • If you've spend enough time in Paris you can visit Disneyland for 1-2 days. Actually one day is too short and 2 days too long. But with the recently opened new park right next to Disneyland, you can spend your 2 days very good. Visiting Disneyland is esp. nice when you have kids or you want to have some cool rides yourself. However don't go there in the summer season, because the parc is too crowded. Best time to visit would be Beginning of June or September.

I believe that during the summer season you can visit Disneyland in the evening for a reduced price. This is really worth it's money since during the evening hours Disneyland is not as crowded as during daytime!

  • This is not really a must see activity, but if you have some more time in Paris, and are sick and tired of the busy downtown Paris you should really pay a visit to the town of Vincennes.

  • Some 45 minutes with the RER to Versailles you will find the magnificient palace and gardens of Versailles. This huge chateau was the home of the Sun King, Louis XIV. It is so very big, that if you want to see all of the palace and the surrounding grounds you will almost need a day!
Please take a look at my Versailles page to read more about this great destination!!

Glad you always take the Thalys train when you go to Paris. We never had a connection like that until this year. Now there are (finally) several fast ICE trains daily from Frankfurt to Paris, and TGVs from Stuttgart.

You sure know Paris well! I have visited five times so far-will be returning again in Dec.-but I have yet to see everything. Your page is excellent.

Yup, the mona lisa was a huge disappointment. Not only is it small, it's dark with age as well...
