On a nice after summer day I went to Düsseldorf. I had never been here and since there was a VT-meeting here organised by Sabsi I decided to go to Germany for the weekend. It happened to be a great stay and it was nice to be back in Germany for the weekend. There weren't too many people at the meeting, but luckily the ones that were there happened to be a great bunch of people. A well spent day. On the second day of the meeting quite a few of us met up again in Cologne, the neighbour city of Düsseldorf.

I took an early train to Düseldorf and met up with Stef and Sabs, to dump our gear at Sabs' place.Then to the city to meet up at the train station. Oh my this was so much fun. We were waiting at one side of the station hall and some others were waiting at the other side of the hall. Of course we had already seen them, but we decided to observe them for some extra time to see what they would do. ;-)))

After this meet up we walked around town a little bit and had some lunch on Marktplatz. We continued our tour along the Rhine and went up in the Rheinturm. Went down again and walked to the Neuer Zollhof for some group piccies and a beer afterwards. Then back to the city centre for dinner at the Schlöffel for a typical German dish, with German service and Schlöffel Altbier. Yummy... Afterwards we walked along the Rhein again to take some nightshots of the Rheinturm and we finished the day of at the world's longest bar, for some more Alt beers. I have to teel you this is the most delicious beer in the world, well one of them anyway!!!! ;))
