Don't pass it!

tilcara is small, but lovely. your bus on the route to or from bolivian boarder will stop there. people are calm and friendly, and the fruit market is astonishing large!
most of the restaurants are worth a visit, especially "San Jorge" (just at the bus station) - where I took my best meals.

Pros and Cons

Pros:restaurants, people, la garganta del diablo
Cons:internet access only in school (rather expensive)
In a nutshell:go and find yourself in the evening calmness of a Tilcara night
