One of my wife's clients is in Seattle so if we were to have dinner during major contract season, I get to travel north.
the last visit in Sept was much better that Jan. Weather was bright and sunny, but but again I didn't venture much further than the Public Market on Pike Street which is quite fun but there are more places to visit. |
| | After having read numerous "management books" over the years, the current books out about the Pike's Place Fish Market are great. They don't talk about "glass walled corporations," rather regular "working people" trying to make a difference.
Meeting some of the people that make the books happen was wonderful. These guys not only love their job they love making a difference and teaching others.
If you've not read or even seen the books, check them out...
Fish Catch When Fish Fly
GREAT Investment. |
| | Pick your team and your stadium. The Seahawks and Mariners have their own stadiums side by side. How nice is that. Keeps the grounds keepers employed full time. |
