Cannes - the Film Festival... The two names have become linked forever.
Cannes has enormous charm with the "old town" narrow walk ways (even though they are mostly now t-shirt shops) with small cafe's and boutiques. |
| | Europe's finest "exotic" cars are seen as common place motor vehicles. Only the latest and greatest in test mode are even "noticed."
A week after I was there the new Ferrari SuperAmerica was debuted.
Unfortunately, I'm still trying to identiry this vehicle that I heard before I saw and only had time to click off one shot. |
| | But getting back to the film festival. In late May the town truely turns into a canival that caters to the film "elite." Not that they deserve it but because they are there at the right time....
Here, Bill Murry, nods to "his crowd" of photogs. The same was performed to the group on the other side of the carpet which is more than some of the other "actors" did for the press. |

Geisha_Girl Fri Jul 1, 2005 15:49 UTC Fantastic black tie shot! In Africa, we chose the crater and saving Serengeti for later!! You must definitely make it out to the crater, Al ! (and tell Tanni to just follow the "blanket of pink" near the lake! Those flamingos are such a sight to see!!!) |
