I have been to Hong Kong a number of times before and after the handover to China.
I was fascinated with the place from my very first visit when we landed at Kai Tak airport turning right round the block of flats...
The landing and the first impressions may not be as dramatic at the new airport but Hong Kong will always be a special place.
Jumping on a ferry to one of the smaller islands is always interesting - Lamma or Cheung Chau are particular favourites for a walk in less built up areas. |
