The jaw-dropping staircase resembling a Nautilus

I put Melk on my itinerary after seeing a photo of this spiral staircase by MEdelmann. The abbey dwarfed my highest expectations. As you can imagine, this splendiferous Baroque gem left an unforgettable impression.

Marvelous Melk: very catching! ; ) I agree on the nautilus picture: it's one of your best, especially the one with the colors.... the green of the tl-light is the perfect extra.
