This went on for 3 hours
Traffic jam around the Etoile, a problem exacerbated by the transit strikes, which meant everybody drove. Further, when we were there, additional strikes forced streets closures. However, in retrospect, driving in central Paris was surprisingly smooth, compared to navigating the warren of one-way streets in Prague or squeezing through the narrow alleys of Strasbourg.
