Welcome to the Granite State, New Hampshire . . . The "Land that I Love" ... my very favorite State! Land of mountains, lakes, trees and wild life (besides my grandchildren). This is where I was born and this is where my heart will forever be.
State motto: "Live Free or Die" |
| View the colors as you pass thru Fall! |
| | Land of moose, deer, mountains and trees! Riding the roads of New Hampshire is a lot more relaxing than being in the big city areas like Boston. Of course, you do have to watch out for deer or moose crossing the roads, but just keep your eyes open.
This is deffinately a State to visit if you love nature, hiking, fishing or even hunting... Okay, I DO like vension on my dinner plate once in awhile! It's the "backwoods blood" in me ... the American Indian ... altho I don't hunt myself, my daughter and son inlaw do. |
Land of MANY Lakes, Rivers & Reservoirs Great for swimming, fishing and watching time go by! I must say that on every NH page I did so far.
My dream: own a home overlooking a New Hampshire Lake... always dreaming. | | | Sunset on Deering, NH Reservoir |

| Pros: | "Trees, trees, trees. Lakes, lakes, lakes. And plenty of Wild Life!" | | Cons: | "You must have your own vehicle ... no public transportation to speak of here!" | | In A Nutshell: | "A place that can take you back in time to relax!" |

We were fortunate enough to have a small cabin on Newfound Lake, and as you've said..."Land that I love...." |
