An Alabama Rose | Jerry's Alabama Pink Rose |
This flower is a picture of how I will always remember my first visit to Alabama. Thanks for a wonderful time, Ruth and Jerry.
Next week, I'll be adding to my tips. Ya'll come back and visit! Note: Pages complete! Don't forget to look thru the travelogues for additional pictures and thanks for visiting. |
| | Landed at the Birmingham Airport This airport reminds me of Manchester, New Hampshire's Airport BEFORE they expanded. Small and easy to get in and out of. Really good security, but you don't have to walk a mile to get your ride! Manchester is just once step larger, but I hope it never gets like Logan in Boston or (heaven forbid) like Charlotte, NC. |
The most unusual thing to us ... was the red soil in Alabama. New England has black soil. So seeing the red stuff was different for us. We didn't see any swamps, haha, like Bill thought was in Alabama. Our freinds said it was common for outsiders to think the land there would be swampy. They have beautiful hills and valleys with lots of trees and flowering plants. | | |

RhondaRuth Sun May 20, 2007 18:29 UTC I checked your pg, thebayratt & see that you're talking about Sante Fe Cattle Co. Unfortunately, things change & so do waiters or waitresses. The one you had should be out the door soon from the sounds of it. Sorry you had such a bad experience. | thebayratt Tue Apr 24, 2007 05:04 UTC Not to rain on a parade but I went here this weekend and it was the WORST service EVER.the waiter LAUGHED at my girlfriend over his childish mistakes, my steak was DRY her's was burnt & overcooked, and they got her order wrong three times, and NO ROLLS!!! | hindu1936 Fri Mar 31, 2006 14:43 UTC That is one huge Park! there are several countries smaller. nice directions. should be easy to find. thanks. joe | Jim_Eliason Tue Nov 25, 2003 02:42 UTC Very nice Alabama page. |
