FOR ME IT'S ALL ABOUT FAMILY!!!

And then I travel .... well usually I travel by train to work 5 days a week. Or I travel by foot around where I live. But then I do get to travel once in awhile. I love it when I do and then ... I love to come home!

So between family and work and travelling, I alternate my pictures on the wall at work. Well since I spend more time at work than any place else, I need to keep some pictures here, right?

And if I'm not traveling, I'm stitching ... right now I'm into knitting.
You could say, "That Rhonda is obsessed. Obessed with knitting!"
My dear husband said, "You just have a fantastic obsession right now, that's all." The man's got it right! It is fantastic *.

So this homepage is dedicated to family and my obsession. Most of the other pages, I try to stick as close to travelling as I can. I want to give good recommendations after all. And I do travel a little.

Welcome to my Virtual Travel HomePage!
Most of my travels have been in the United States and many are lacking pictures ... for the moment. There's 30+ years I have to think back on and remember where I've been and what I did and maybe scan a few pictues, etc. You'll see & read more about places I've been to recently, due to the fact that I got a digital camera for Christmas 2001. Taking scenic pictures has become another hobby! And VT has given me a great place to share them. I never thought I wanted to travel much until I discovered VT. Now it's fun learning about new places through the eyes of other travelers as well.
Now ... I want to go, go, go!!!

As you see in a lot of my pictures, I love both old and new Architecture!

The old is beautiful and gives me a sense of stability and a warm feeling from the charm of the old. Then the new is exciting and filled with a wild spirit. Even the oddity of the Statta Center at MIT is appealing to me. Check out the construction in progress on my Cambridge Travelogues. Fall of 2004: they have completed the Stata Center. Now maybe I'll get a few pictures from inside. What an UNUSUAL place!

The views from Boston Harbor is wonderful when you're out on the water. Right on the harbor ... and I get out there as often as I can ... but not on a sail boat, lol I don't sail. Give me one with a motor. But I do love to watch sail boats go by!

Check out my Boston pages ... some people in New Hampshire don't realize how wonderful and beautiful it CAN be down here in the Boston area. It's part of my home now and I love it! It's like living an travelling adventure, just commuting to work, LOL.

First Birthday for Jayden!

I do love all of my grandchildren equally and all of them are my grandchildren regardless of their parents opinion or who their parents are or what their relationship is to me. That includes my husband's grandchildren.

The youngest grandchild is Jayden and she just had her first birthday. Happy Birthday, Jay! You cutie pie!!
