aboutbritain get together My reason for being in Salem was to meet up with forum members from aboutbritain, in the USA and the Hawthorn Hotel Salem was chosen for this first away meeting.
Its was a great success.
Salem is a nice place I would not mind staying there its only 30 minutes from Boston.
I'm glad I took three days out from my trip to New York and Boston to stay in Salem.
Its more than just Witches.
Yes you will have fun learning about the witch trials but there are nice old houses to look at/into also. Its a nice little town.
With quaint streets. Nice views and the famous House of Seven Gables and the author Hawthorne's home.

Look in the picture, to the left of the Witch Museum. Its the Stepping Stone Inn. I stay there and Halloween is delivered to my doorstep. It's a great place to stay! It's run by John Brick. Nice guy, Tell him Sean Brown from CA sent recommended the place. |
