Italy via Austria | Scenery near Roma: Tivoli Gardens. |
My first time abroad and my first flight, it was on a propeller driven plane. We flew from Turnhouse Airport and the worst part of the trip was the taxi to Turnhouse because we nearly were involved in a crash.
We listened to tourists returning from Italy and what we heard was that the weather was awful rain for two weeks.
And it was true, rain greeted us in Austria and to bed we went without a cuppa after midnight. Then the next day it was dry and once we entered Italy the sun came out to stay for the whole two weeks. Hot sunny weather. We where in our third country in only a few days.
Lovely people: strange food; wine, real coffee and lovely cities.
23 years old and a tourist!
Yippee!
