McIntosh, Alabama. It's a short 45 mile drive from Airport Blvd by Mobile -- the closest decent place to stay for my three-week work assignment. The funnest thing to do was decide where to have lunch -- The Sweet Shop, Bee Hive, Southside, or Gas Station Pizza. How to differentiate? They each have cheeseburgers and fries (except for Gas Station Pizza that only has pizza). A limited selection of sandwiches. Steam tables with fried chicken and grits. Yum! |
