I've lived in Iowa all of my life. The senic country is breath taking. Iowa is also big on dirt track racing. I personally enjoy dirt track racing a lot because my dad used to race a modified. I've grown up in a small town all of my life. My dad is an auto mechanic and my mom is a nurse. I participate in basketball and football cheerleading.

My family also owns a trailer on a private lake that we go to every weekend.

What I really love about Iowa is there's a little bit of everything. You can go to Des Moines if you're into bigger city life. Or you can go to a smaller rural town for peace and quiet.

Pros and Cons

Cons:The ever unpredictable weather

another Vt'er mentioned the state fair. you say when, now all i neeeeeeed is where. we are going to be through there the second week, but maybe this year it will be then.
