Once I spent a wild time here, with some wild guys in that wild times...
Just for a couple of months at a college...
...but times have changed and the people here prefer and enjoy a calm and peaceful life ;-)...
It's nice to sit around in the various beergardens here and to enjoy tasty food and wonderful local Suebian beer...
- Pros:nice, beautiful, hidden
- Cons:everything is moving a bit too slow here
- In a nutshell:if you are there around, spend a day there and you will like it

Nice and relaxing town, I see. I have no idea what Zwiebelkuchen or Gaisburger Marsch is but I trust you and hopefully check it sooner or later.
Esslingen looks like a beautiful little town. Isn't this the hometown of Olaf Maninger, the cellist with the Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra and one of the Twelve Cellists?
