Located in the northwest of Spain, at the Atlantic Ocean, the ancient Brigantia is an historic maritime city, wich importance stands out since roman ages to present time.
The history of A Coruña is the history of its port, very famous in anciente saling. Witness of this is its very tall roman lighthouse, built in the second century. This lighthouse is known as "La torre de Hércules" (The tower of Hercules).
One of the most outstanding signs of identity of A Coruña are the numeruos glass façades of the XIX century buildings, which gave to A Coruña the name of "Glass City".

A part of Spain often "forgotten" by tourists I think. Hope to see it next time I am in Spain. Greetings from Norway !

Beautiful page, both pictures and text. By the way, those menhirs whose name you have forgotten are a work of Manuel Paz and they are located in the Celtic Park. If I am not wrong, they are meant to depict the seven celtic nations.
